My journey as a software developer
I'm an IT Specialist who enjoys solving problems for people. I'm at my best when I'm troubleshooting issues, improving workflows, and helping users get back to work quickly.
I studied Computer Science at Middle Tennessee State University, and I bring a strong technical foundation into day-to-day support work—understanding how systems fit together, isolating root causes, and communicating clearly.
Outside of support, I enjoy building small web apps and automation tools (especially with JavaScript and PowerShell) to remove repetitive work and make processes smoother.

My professional and academic journey
Prepare and deploy employee laptops at scale through shipment intake, imaging, pre-provisioning, software installation, and quality assurance.
In this role, I support large-scale laptop deployment and upgrade workflows. I import laptop shipments, unbox and image devices, pre-provision them for new hires, then repackage and export them to Deloitte employees. I also install software and complete upgrade support for current employees, with a strong focus on quality assurance, process adherence, and continuous process improvement.
Consultative sales role focused on client needs analysis, product education, and relationship management in financial services.
Seeking to expand my professional horizons and develop entrepreneurial skills, I accepted an invitation to join Bankers Life as a Life and Health Insurance Sales Agent, with a clear pathway toward becoming a Financial Advisor. This role provided me with comprehensive exposure to the insurance industry, financial planning principles, and client relationship management. I gained valuable experience in consultative selling, market analysis, and helping clients make informed decisions about their financial security.
Led frontline tech support and Makerspace operations—troubleshooting, user assistance, equipment support, and training for students and staff.
As a Student Technology Assistant (Team Leader), I managed both the Information Technology department and the Makerspace, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, 3D printers, laser cutters, and other digital fabrication equipment. I provided comprehensive technical support to students, faculty, and staff while leading a team of student workers.
Built strong foundations in computer systems, data structures & algorithms, and software engineering, plus applied AI/NLP coursework. This background supports a practical troubleshooting mindset and clear technical communication.
